Jake's Ice Cream Searching for DREAMGIRLS-Inspired Recipes
Think you can DREAM up a show-stopping ice cream flavor? Then Jake's Ice Cream and Broadway Across America - Atlanta want to hear from you! The Atlanta ice cream icon is currently accepting DREAMGIRLS-inspired recipes in celebration of the arrival of the Broadway sensation's national tour, playing Atlanta's Fabulous Fox Theatre from October 12-17, 2010.
How to EnterNow through October 4, ice cream inventors are invited to post their DREAMGIRLS recipe ideas (including a flavor name!) on the wall of Jake's Ice Cream Facebook page. Entries will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Monday, October 4.All entries must be original, and any submissions that duplicate a current flavor on the Jake's Ice Cream menu will be disqualified. For information on current flavors, and to get inspired, visit http://www.jakesicecream.com/flavors.html. Recipes may not include any candies with colors that bleed, such as Skittles, rock candy, etc.Judging
The top five submissions will be selected based on Facebook user votes (visitors may vote for a flavor by 'Liking' it or by leaving a comment). A panel of celebrity judges will select the winning flavor from the Top Five on Thursday, October 7, and the winning recipe will be announced on Friday, October 8. Celebrity judges include:

During the Atlanta engagement of DREAMGIRLS, from October 12-17, the winning recipe will be the featured flavor at Jake's Ice Cream. Additional prizes include:
Grand Prize: Four tickets to the opening night performance of DREAMGIRLS at the Fox Theatre on Friday, October 12 plus one free quart of Jake's Ice Cream each month for the next year.

First runner up: One free pint of Jake's Ice Cream each month for one year
Second runner up: One free scoop of Jake's Ice Cream each month for one year
Third runner up: $25 Jake's Ice Cream gift certificate
