THE MODERN ATLANTA DANCE FESTIVAL Returns This June
Atlanta Contemporary Dance Company, Graham Shelor Dance, and more perform at Emory's Performing Arts Studio.
The Modern Atlanta Dance (MAD) Festival, created by Full Radius Dance in 1993, will return this June at the Performing Arts Studio on Emory University’s main campus.
The professionally juried festival was established to showcase the diversity and excellence of Atlanta’s dance community and remains one of the only professionally juried dance festivals in the Southeast.
This year’s festival will feature performances by Atlanta Contemporary Dance Company, Graham Shelor Dance, Hayley Newell, Madison Lee, Medina Dance Collective, and host company Full Radius Dance.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, June 12 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the Performing Arts Studio (PAS), located at 1804 N. Decatur Road in Atlanta.
Ticket Information
The festival uses a “Name Your Own Price” ticketing structure beginning at $5, with a suggested ticket price of $20, in an effort to keep performances accessible to a broad audience.
