Aurora Theatre Swing Nights Big Band Concert Series Begins Season 3 9/10

Now that the kids are back in school, it is time for the adults to have fun with an end of summer concert. Swing Night at Aurora Theatre featuring the Metro Jazz Club returns for a third season of concerts, celebrating the truly American music of jazz and swing on Friday September, 10 at 8:00 PM. The Metro Jazz Club is a smokin'-hot 17 piece band accompanied by a sultry chanteuse, the magnificent Maxine Cummins.

Your hostess for the evening will be Aurora Theatre Associate Producer Ann-Carol Pence. Very few vocalists combine the power and beauty of Ann-Carol Pence as she thoughtfully interprets a phrase of music. The concert will also feature the charming Jeremy Wood (Singin' in the Rain, A Catered Affair). Audiences will flip for Jeremy, and it is only fair as he flipped for them, literally, in his portrayal of CosMo Brown in Aurora's season opening sensation Singin' in the Rain.
