Aurora Theatre Funny Fridays Welcomes Back BlackTop Improv Group, 1/18 & 19
Aurora Theatre's Funny Fridays welcomes back the most popular comedy act in its six year history when the hilarious BlackTop Improv Group performs on January 18-19 at 7:15 & 9:15 PM. This January also marks the one year anniversary of comedienne Debra Cole as the host of the wildly popular club comedy series. This season Aurora Theatre expanded the Funny Fridays schedule with the introduction of Funny Fridays: Saturday Edition. This is an event not to be missed by anyone who appreciates live comedy.

BlackTop Improv Group
BlackTop Improv Group started in 1997 in Atlanta as the only all African-American improv troupe. Since then BlackTop has become one of the most requested and respected comedy acts in the country. It is the only improv troupe in the nation that has six internationally known stand-up comedians that have appeared on BET, HBO and Comedy Central. With quick wit and imagination, BlackTop instantly creates funny scenes using suggestions from the crowd. The BlackTop Improv show is unique because the audience is involved in the creation of every scene. Atlanta comedy enthusiasts know Debra's wry humor from her many performances as a solo act and part of the Mixed Nuts comedy troupe, a Funny Fridays mainstay. Born on April Fool's Day, Debra's sassy audience interaction and left-hook delivery are sure bets to bring the laughs and set the pace for visiting comedians, making Funny Fridays a desired destination for the country's top touring comedians.
