Atlanta Opera Has Released 18 New Filmed Operas To Streaming Platform

The Atlanta Opera has released 18 new filmed performances to their streaming platform, The Atlanta Opera Film Studio.
The performances a part of this roll out, according to a press release, included “Madama Butterfly,” “Don Giovanni,” “The Barber of Seville,” “Bluebeard’s Castle,” La bohème,” and the first three operas of Richard Wagner’s “Ring Cycle” – “Das Rheingold,” “Die Walküre,” and “Siegfried."
These films began being released to Atlanta Opera Film Studio subscribers in September. In addition to these new releases, the studio has also started livestreaming operas for free on their platform which have included “La traviata," “The Marriage of Figaro,” “Turandot” and lastly, “Twilight of the Dogs (Götterdämmerung)” which is set to stream on June 5.
The Atlanta Opera Film Studio offers a membership which can be paid monthly for $7 or annually for $25. A membership provides access to featured films, documentaries, behind-the-scenes content, the livestreamed events, full concerts, and complete series.
