A COMEDY OF TENORS Premieres at Georgia Ensemble Theatre

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, continues its 25th Silver Anniversary Season sponsored by The Thoresen Foundation, with Ken Ludwig's hilarious farce, A Comedy of Tenors.

Fresh on the heels of the huge hit Tenderly, The Rosemary Clooney Musical which played to sold out audiences, this next production will run March 1 - 18, 2018 at the theatre's home in the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. Directed by Atlanta favorite Shelly McCook who recently appeared on stage at GET in Morningside, "Tenors" is sponsored by long-term Georgia Ensemble Theatre partner Macy's Department Stores.

About the Show:

The theatre world has waited 30 years for comic genius Ken Ludwig to deliver this companion piece to the hilarious, Tony Award-winning Lend Me A Tenor, the most popular American farce of the 20th century.

This time around, we're in 1930s Paris. One hotel suite, four tenors, two wives, three girlfriends, and a soccer stadium full of screaming fans. The stage is now set for the concert of the century - as long as producer Henry Saunders can keep Italian superstar Tito Merelli and his hot-blooded wife Maria from causing runaway chaos.

An uproarious ride, full of mistaken identities, bedroom hijinks, and madcap delight, this long-awaited Southeastern premiere runs on all of your laugh-out-loud cylinders.

The Cast:

A Comedy of Tenors features an extraordinary cast of Atlanta actors. Robert Egizio (Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks at GET), Courtney Collins (Calendar Girls at GET) and Lindsay Ricketson (Pump Boys and Dinettes at GET), will be joined by GET newcomers Lane Carlock, Brian Kurlander, John Markowski and Haden Ryder.

Tickets:

Ticket prices for A Comedy of Tenors start at $29 for Wednesdays, Thursdays, and matinees; Friday nights start from $40, and Saturday nights start from $43. Book early for best prices. (Senior/Student discounts available for select performances). Tickets are available now online at www.get.org, or by calling the Box Office at 770-641-1260.
