TimeLine Theatre Company continues its 19th season with the Midwest premiere of SPILL, an incredibly vivid, behind-the-news play revealing the untold stories of the people directly affected by the 2010 BP oil spill and the lasting impact of the largest environmental disaster in U.S. history. Scroll down for a first look at the cast in action!

Written and directed by Leigh Fondakowski, writer/director of THE PEOPLE'S TEMPLE and head writer of Tectonic Theater Project's THE LARAMIE PROJECT, SPILL is a riveting human drama drawn from hundreds of interviews with fishermen and rig workers, oil industry executives and clean-up workers, environmentalists and families who lost loved ones in the Deepwater Horizon explosion.

SPILL also explores how the oil industry has benefited people in the region for decades, providing jobs and bringing many out of poverty.

Ultimately, SPILL investigates the relationship of man versus nature and the conflict between our economic dependence on oil versus the certain disaster of climate change -- one of the greatest human and economic challenges of our time.

SPILL features Caren Blackmore, Tim Decker, Craig Spidle, Justin James Farley, David Prete, Chris Rickett, Christopher Sheard, Kelli Simpkins and Justine Turner.

TimeLine Theatre Company's SPILL is being presented at an alternate location, Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago. For more information, visit timelinelinetheatre.com or call (773) 281-8463.
