Zachary Booth, Patch David, Tyler Dean, Rachel Bahler, Harry Barandes, and Torrey Wigfield will make appearances in a new web series entitled Dating & Auditioning that will premier this fall.

Dating & Auditioning: the web series chronicles the highs and lows of what could be called the two most difficult activities in NYC. Main character Alice pushes through the season's quirky scenarios to discover herself, what she wants for her career, and for her love life. Six different actresses play the role of Alice throughout the 12 episode series, emphasizing that "Alice" represents more than one girl; her experiences are universal for NYC's 20-somethings.

The webisodes will intentionally challenge the audience to decipher whether Alice is going on a date or an audition. This ambiguity prompts the viewers to discuss what is appropriate and/or normal in either situation, reminding them that in the end, both are essentially interviews.

Alice keeps on trucking, no matter what is thrown at her, because at the end of every webisode, we are reminded that life doesn't always conform to the plans that we make for ourselves. While this is a hard realization for Alice, D&A is definitely a comedy. As horribly cliché as it sounds, life is about the journey, and though the process may not always be easy or pretty, D&A reminds us it's always important to laugh at yourself and start again.
