From World Music Institute Artistic Director Par Neiburger: "World Music Institute has a very long and deep history of bringing flamenco to New York. This season we're excited to present a concert of the legendary musicians who were the last touring band for Paco de Lucía, arguably Spain's greatest exponent of Flamenco guitar. This event will be a fitting and magnificent tribute to one of the greatest Flamenco musicians to ever live."

This World Music Institute performance at Symphony Space is part of a North American tour that commemorates the 50th anniversary of the release of de Lucía´s first recording in 1967: La fabulosa guitarra de Paco de Lucía (The Fabulous Guitar of Paco de Lucia).

A longtime collaborator and producer of Paco de Lucía, Javier Limón reveals the secrets of flamenco at the highest level, creating an experience that honors the legacy of Paco de Lucía while paving a new path into the future of flamenco.
