Michael Riedel of The New York Post has reported that a revue featuring dances from Jerome Robbins' Broadway musicals and ballets was staged in a a top-secret workshop last week at City Center.

The workshop, directed by Warren Carlyle, included numbers from "The King and I," "Gypsy," "High Button Shoes" and "On the Town" as well as his ballets including, "Afternoon of a Faun," "The Cage" and "Fanfare." Tony Award- winner Victoria Clark was on hand to sing songs from Robbins' musicals, in lieu of narration.

There is no word on a future on Broadway for the new project, however, a source who attended the workshop confirmed, "It's a little esoteric, but fascinating. I think it could do extremely well at one of the non-profit theaters."
