THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG begins performances off-Broadway at New World Stages tonight!

The Play That Goes Wrong recently ended its Broadway run at the Lyceum Theatre on January 6th. Today, the show moves off-Broadway to wreak havoc on New World Stages!

The Play That Goes Wrong will be directed Off-Broadway by Matt DiCarlo. The original Broadway direction is by Mark Bell.

Eden Espinosa, Jessica Hecht, and more will appear at Williamstown Theatre Festival Gala tonight!

Williamstown Theatre Festival's annual WTF Gala will include special appearances by Eden Espinosa (WTF's Lempicka, Wicked), Tony Award nominee Jessica Hecht (WTF's The Closet, "Friends"), and 2018 Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Martyna Majok (WTF's Cost of Living).

The 2019 WTF Gala: "An Evening with Audra McDonald," honoring WTF Board Chairman Matt Harris, will be held at 583 Park Avenue in New York City on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 6:30 PM. The event will include cocktails and dinner and feature an evening of performance by Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award winner and two-time Festival star, Audra McDonald.

Laura Benanti, Jeremy Kushnier, and more will sing for Immigrant Families Together at Feinstein's/54 Below tonight!

Laura Benanti, Emily Bergl and more will perform in Broadway Sings, An Evening of Musical Theatre Support Immigrant Families Together on February 11th. This grassroots organization is working to reunite and continue to support the families who have been separated at the border. Featuring performers Laura Benanti, Emily Bergl and more, the show will be bringing you a plethora of songs from favorite musicals that highlight the importance of taking action and joining together to create a better world. Come be a part of the change!

Jason Robert Brown's FAREWELL MY CONCUBINE gets a staged reading in NYC beginning today!

Jason Robert Brown's next big musical project is on its way to the stage! According to an Equity casting notice, his adaptation of the 1993 film Farewell My Concubine will get a staged reading February 11-15. The project, which features a book by Kenneth Lin, will receive direction by Moises Kaufman and musical direction by Thomas Murray.

Farewell My Concubine is a 1993 Chinese drama film directed by Chen Kaige. It is one of the central works of the Fifth Generation movement that brought Chinese film directors to world attention. Similar to other Fifth Generation films like To Live and The Blue Kite, Farewell My Concubine explores the effect of China's political turmoil during the mid-20th century on the lives of individuals, families, and groups. In this case, the affected are two male stars in a Beijing opera troupe and the woman who comes between them.

Lincoln Center's American Songbook series celebrates the ever-expanding American musical canon. This year's 15-concert series, taking place through March 4, includes legendary songwriters, contemporary storytellers and interpreters of song, and musical projects by multitalented performers pushing the boundaries of pop, alternative, soul, folk, musical theater, jazz and more. What we're geeking out over: Meet the Genie in the First TV Spot for ALADDIN

The first TV spot for Disney's upcoming live-action adaptation of "Aladdin" has been released, and it includes new, never-before-seen footage.

A thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney's animated classic, "Aladdin" is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future. Directed by Guy Ritchie, who brings his singular flair for fast-paced, visceral action to the fictitious port city of Agrabah, "Aladdin" is written by John August and Ritchie based on Disney's "Aladdin." The film stars Will Smith as the Genie; Mena Massoud as Aladdin; Naomi Scott as Jasmine; Marwan Kenzari as Jafar; Navid Negahban as the Sultan; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia; Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders; and Numan Acar as Hakim.
