- Sorry to end on a sad note, but Nicholas Martin, the Tony nominated director of 'VANYA AND SONIA' and many other wonderful productions, passed away on April 30. He was 75.

And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Christine Baranski, who turns 62 today!
Baranski won her first Tony Award in 1984 for The Real Thing (which is returning to Broadway this season) and again in 1989 for Rumors. She has also starred on Broadway in Boeing-Boeing, Nick & Nora, The House of Blue Leaves, Hurlyburly and Hide and Seek. Baranski will next be seen as Cinderella's Stepmother in the upcoming film adaptation of Into the Woods. Her past theatre-inspired movie credits include Mamma Mia!, Chicago, The Birdcage and more. She currently co-stars in the TV series The Good Wife.
