The Bridges of Madison County, the new Broadway musical by Tony Award® and Pulitzer Prize-winning team Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman, starring five-time Tony Award-nominee Kelli O'Hara, and star of screen & stage and 2014 Drama Desk nominee Steven Pasquale, will play its final performance on Sunday, May 18, 2014, having played 137 performances.

The show has struggled to find an audience, with its box office averaging 72% of capacity on tickets sold, and 38.89% of its potential gross.

The producers of The Bridges of Madison County, which released its original cast recording digitally on April 15th debuting as the #1 Cast Recording on the Billboardchart, are thrilled to announce that the production will embark on a tour in the fall of 2015, directed by Bartlett Sher.

The Bridges of Madison County has been nominated for two Outer Critic Circle Awards, nine Drama Desk Awards including Best New Musical, and four Tony Awards including Best Actress (Kelli O'Hara), Best Original Score (Jason Robert Brown), Best Orchestrations (Jason Robert Brown), and Best Lighting Design of a Musical (Donald Holder).

The Bridges of Madison County is based on the best selling novel by Robert James Waller.

The design team includes Michael Yeargan (scenic design), Catherine Zuber(costume design), Donald Holder (lighting design), and Jon Weston (sound design). Casting was by Telsey + Company, Abbie Brady-Dalton, CSA.
