And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Lillias White, who turns 64 today!
White last starred on Broadway in Fela! and more recently appeared in While I Yet Live off-Broadway. Before that, she starred in Broadway's The Life, which earned her a Tony and a Drama Desk for Best Featured Actress in a Musical in 1997, as well as Chicago, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Once on This Island, Carrie, Dreamgirls, Rock 'N Roll! The First 5,000 Years, Cats and Barnum. She has also taken the stage in concert productions of South Pacific, Purlie, Hair and Funny Girl. Among her off-Broadway credits are Love, Loss, and What I Wore, Crowns, Dinah Was and Romance in Hard Times.
