Mulgrew, well known for her role as 'Red' on the Netflix prison drama Orange Is the New Black, last appeared on Broadway in Equus and White Liars & Black Comedy. Among her off-Broadway credits are Somewhere Fun, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, Edward Albee's The American Dream and The Sandbox, Iphigenia 2.0 (which earned her an Obie Award), Our Leading Lady, Tea at Five, Mary Stuart, and Titus Andronicus. She has also starred in the TV series Mrs. Columbo (her first Golden Globe nomination), Star Trek: Voyager and Ryan's Hope.
