VIDEO: Valerie Harper Channels Grace Kelly on DANCING WITH THE STARS

It was Hollywood Night on ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS as contestants paid tribute to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. Broadway vet Valerie Harper and her pro dance partner Tristan McManus danced an energetic Cha-Cha as they channeled the spirit of actress Grace Kelly and Queen's Freddie Mercury. "My knees are paying the price but we're still going to have a lot of fun," said the ever-optimistic actress.

Said Bruno, "My darling you got the look right, total Hollywood royalty. You went wrong so many times, but you look great."

Added Carrie Ann, "Valerie you lost your way but you still managed to bring grace to that routine."

"It was a little bit like an airline", offered Len. "You were a little uncomfortable, a little bit bumpy but you landed gracefully."

The couple earned a 16 out of 30, which combined with viewer votes, was enough to keep them in the competition.

"Dancing with the Stars" is back with an all-new cast and fresh show format. The competition will shake things up this season by transitioning to a one night, two-hour format. The premiere episode will kick off with a spectacular opening number featuring the entire cast. Each couple will then perform a Cha Cha, Foxtrot or Contemporary routine, vying for America's vote for the first time. Beginning with the second episode on Monday, September 23, one couple will be eliminated at the end of the show by combining the judges' scores from the first two weeks with the public votes from the previous week.

Hosted by Emmy Award-winning host Tom Bergeron ("America's Funniest Home Videos") and Brooke Burke-Charvet ("Dancing with the Stars" Season 7 Champion), "Dancing with the Stars" is the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which are judged by renowned ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
