Jimmy Kimmel has always said that David Letterman was his hero growing up. So, having Letterman as a guest on his own talk show must have been a dream come true. This week, while Kimmel brings his talk show to Brooklyn, Letterman paid him a visit (not his first) to talk about his upcoming Netflix series and that time he gave CONAN O'Brien a horse.

Let's get to that horse. O'Brien visited Stephen Colbert last week and revealed that, after giving Letterman a farewell speech for Entertainment Weekly, Letterman decided to thank him with a gift. That gift was a horse...named Dave. The horse ended up being unrideable, so O'Brien donated the horse to a safe facility.

Letterman decided to respond to the story on Kimmel, explaining that the horse was not for safe-keeping, but instead for it to be brought on O'Brien's show to defecate and then to be sent back. Needless to say, Letterman's prank went wrong, since he never got his money back for the gift. Kimmel and Letterman laughed over the incident, with Kimmel suggesting that Letterman sticks to an Edible Arrangement as a gift next time.

The conversation moved to Letterman's upcoming Netflix show. Letterman would not budge on any of the details, claiming that there is not even a title yet. He did divulge in his dream guests on his show, which include President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un.

Before the interview could end, Kimmel decided to give Letterman a gift, a la the horse Dave. Kimmel gave his idol a BULL that made headlines when he wandered the streets of Brooklyn on Tuesday. Take that Letterman!
