Tulalip Resort Casino Hosts Its Annual Taste Of Tulalip Holiday Wine Sale

Tulalip Resort Casino's Sommelier Tom Thompson is extending an invitation to all holiday gift-givers and all wine, whiskey and tequila lovers to the Resort's annual Taste of Tulalip Holiday Wine Sale. The sale will feature over 100 remarkable local and international wine selections and top-shelf aged spirits from around the globe. The sale will be held on Tuesday, November 20; Wednesday, November 21; and Black Friday, November 23 from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.

During the sale, Sommelier Tom Thompson will be opening some of his favorite finds so guests can sample a selection of wines they might not have otherwise tasted...and can purchase them on the spot. Last year, shoppers were able to sample wines, such as Quilceda Creek's legendary Washington state wines, Walla Walla heavy hitter - Leonetti Cellar, Sparkman Cellars along with a few of Sommelier Tom Thompson's favorite international selections. With new wines to try each day, it's no wonder guests make it a point to visit the wine sale on all three days.

"It's that time of year when we make room in our cellar for several of our new wine arrivals (which I couldn't pass up), and there's no better way to make room in our cellars and fill yours with great wines than to share some of our favorite finds with our loyal wine drinkers during the holiday season," shares Sommelier Tom Thompson. "Nothing pairs better with the holidays than a top-quality bottle of wine at a great price. We also know that the right bottle of wine can elevate any family gathering or party."

The following is a tempting look at Sommelier Tom Thompson's impressive lineup for 2018: featuring bottles from top winemakers at Leonetti Cellar, Orin Swift, Domaine Curry, Concha y Toro, Jonata, Chateau Lynch-Bages, Chateau Cos d' Estournel, Antinori, Harlan Estate, Quilceda Creek, Doubleback, Mollydooker, Chris Figgins' Toil Winery, and Kosta Browne. Guests can also select from several vintages of Taste of Tulalip Honorary Winemaker wines in Tulalip's annual featured artist etched bottles. The bottles contain juice from some of Washington's top winemakers, featuring Betz Family Winery, Sparkman Cellars, Barrage Cellars, and Côte Bonneville.

To spice things up for the 2018 sale, Sommelier Tom Thompson decided to add a limited selection of aged spirits to his offerings, which includes Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon, Don Julio Tequila, Herradura Tequila, The Dalmore Single Malt Whiskey and the highly allocated Whistle Pig Whiskey.

The Taste of Tulalip Holiday Wine Shop will take place at the Resort's Art Gallery, located by the Gift Shop. For more information about Tulalip Casino Resort or the Holiday Wine Shop, visit Tulalip Resort Casino.
