On Thursday October 25th, La Maquinista will become a fashion runway where the new young model finalists will parade for Fresh Faces 2012, organized by the online model network modelmanagement.com and sponsored by top model agency Traffic Models.

The two winners will sign a contract with the prestigious European modeling agency Traffic Models and start an international career in the fashion world. They will have all the training and support needed: receive runway classes, shooting tests, and personal trainers will be provided to them and dietitians to become real catwalk stars.

Furthermore, they will be protagonists of the upcoming campaigns of Revlon Professional (her) and American Crew (him), two major cosmetic brands that work regularly with some of the best photographers in the fashion world for prestigious publications like Vogue and Harpers Bazaar.

The Fresh Faces 2012 contest began last May on modelmanagement.com and included online voting and live castings to select new faces, those boys and girls who have the necessary qualities to take their place in a world as complex and competitive as fashion.

The finalists, who are between 15 and 26 years, were selected from hundreds of applicants from around the world. Now, they will have the opportunity to give everything on the runway to begin the journey to become top models.

The choice of winners, a boy and a girl, will be made by a jury of industry experts, including Marie Christine Pollet, discoverer of great talents like Martina Klein and Andrés Velencoso, Raquel Gatell, director of Traffic Models, CEO of modelmanagement.com Andreas Von Estorff, Andrea Regàs, director of Woman magazine. The finals will also be attended by representatives fromTous and Revlon Professional.

The highly acclaimed Fresh Faces contest was born in 2010, and celebrated finals in Paris, Vienna, Berlin and Barcelona, being the first to combine social networking, online voting and live events. It currently has a worldwide audience and participants from more than 150 countries. Some of the finalists from past editions have paraded on runways in Milan, Paris and New York, and a finalist for a previous French edition was chosen for the cover of ELLE France and photographed by Karl Lagerfeld.
