Television: Emmy Award for hosting "Live From Lincoln Center," HBO's "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill," NBC's "The Sound of Music Live!" (Mother Abbess), "The Good Wife," "Private Practice" (Dr. Naomi Bennett), "A Raisin in the Sun" (Emmy nomination), "Kidnapped," "The Bedford Diaries," "Mister Sterling," "Wit" (Emmy nomination), "Law & Order: SVU," "Annie," and "Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years." A two-time Grammy Award winner, she has released five solo albums on Nonesuch Records and maintains a major concert career.
