'Theater Talk' Features Tony Predictions Show, June 2

Jesse Green (New York Times), Michael Musto (The Village Voice) and Patrick Pacheco (Show People) will join "Theater Talk" co-hosts Michael Riedel (New York Post) and Susan Haskins to handicap some of the most hotly contested Tony Awards races, "choosing who will win, who will lose and who should never have even been nominated."

"The panel will also pick the worst musical of the season and discuss plans for the upcoming Tony broadcast, as well as new Tony committee rulings affecting everything from the number of nominees to swag," state press notes.

In addition to its premiere on June 2 at 12:30 AM, "Theater Talk"'s Predictions Show can be seen again on Thirteen, Monday, June 5 at 5:30 AM. It also will be on Boston's WGBH 44, Sunday, June 4 at 2:30 PM and will be repeated on CUNY-TV in NYC (Channel 75): Saturday, June 10 at 8:30 PM, Sunday, June 11 at 12:30 PM. It also will have three (Monday morning quarterbacking) reruns on June 12, the day after the awards ceremony, at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

This weekend on CUNY-TV, "Theater Talk" will welcome Tony-nominees Richard Griffiths of The History Boys and Bob Martin of The Drowsy Chaperone. The program airs Saturday, June 3 at 8:30 PM, Sunday, June 4 at 12:30 PM, as well as June 5 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

The 60th Annual Tony Awards will be broadcast on CBS from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 11th. Sixty stars--including Chita Rivera, Julia Roberts, Ralph Fiennes, Bernadette Peters and Oprah Winfrey--will serve as presenters and co-hosts.
