The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight Will Come to the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts

The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight will come to the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts in Boise on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at 8 p.m. The performance is presented by MEGA Events USA Inc. and will feature a 14-member rotating collective of classical musicians and vocalists performing orchestral arrangements of rock and metal songs.
The 90-minute concert will combine classical instrumentation with rock and metal music in a candlelit setting. The program will include music associated with Metallica, AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, System of a Down, Guns N' Roses, Evanescence, Aerosmith and The Cranberries, among others. The Rock Orchestra is a rotating ensemble, so individual performers are not listed as a fixed cast for the Boise engagement.
The performance is recommended for ages 14 and older. The Morrison Center notes that the production may include strobe lighting effects. Lobby doors open 60 minutes before the performance, with theater doors opening 30 minutes before showtime. Assisted listening devices and accessible seating will be available, and parking is included with the ticket purchase.
The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight has previously toured internationally and is returning to the United States with a new 2026 production. The Boise engagement is part of the current U.S. tour.
