The Capitol Theatre presents an evening with Ace Frehley on Thursday, July 20 at 8 pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 26 at 10 am. This will be Frehley's first concert in Clearwater since his sold-out date at the Capitol Theatre last year!

Ace Frehley, a musical maverick and iconoclast adored by millions of fans around the world, who has inspired numerous up-and-coming rockers to pick up the guitar, is of course, a founding member and lead guitarist for KISS, one of the world's top hard rock bands of all time. Frehley has also enjoyed a successful solo career, with his smash 1978 solo album and post KISS work including 2009's Anomaly and 2014's Space Invader; Frehley continues to be the best selling member of the original band. Frehley's most recent album, Origins, Vol. 1., features guest appearances from Slash, Lita Ford, Mike McCready, John 5 and Paul Stanley.

Reserved tickets priced at $60, $49 and $35 will be available at the Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office located at 1111 McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater or by calling 727.791.7400. The Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office is open Monday through Saturday, from 10 am to 6 pm and one hour prior to show time. Patrons may also purchase tickets at www.AtTheCap.com 24/7.

The Capitol Theatre, located in downtown Clearwater's Cleveland District, was constructed in 1921 and is one of Florida's oldest operating theaters. In 2015, the Capitol Theatre was named the #5 venue in the world by industry trade publication Venues Today and the #29 club venue in the world by industry trade publication Pollstar. In 2013, the theater underwent a complete renovation and is the catalyst for downtown development.
