TRUE CRIME: THE MUSICAL is back! This completely improvised musical, presented by musical improv duo Beautiful Dreamers, will be resurrected on Friday the 13th at 11pm at The People's Improv Theater (123 E 24th St) on the Striker MainStage.

Prepare yourself for a night that may get ... ugly. You give them the location. The victim. And the crime. They take you on an improvised musical journey through the story of how it happened. And you better believe they get to the bottom of every case. One way or another.

Maggie Lalley and Jillian Vitko are Beautiful Dreamers, a musical improv duo based in NYC. Maggie and Jillian are both professional actors and have years of stage experience. They found each other at Magnet Theater, where they were both completed the musical improv curriculum, as well as performed on musical improv house teams.

Beautiful Dreamers has performed all around the city, at venues such as Magnet Theater, The PIT, Countdown Theater, and others. They've also been accepted into 321 Improv Festival (FL), District Improv Festival (DC), and Interrupted Improv Festival(NYC), where they were named the winners of the TwoProv Cage Match competition.

Their performance style is fun, both comedic and dramatic, and always unique. They bring big characters, harmonies, and energy to the stage. They're a one-of-a-kind musical improv team you don't want to miss!
