Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As with your favorite Broadway stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this week's edition, we caught up with Jim Norton, who stars as 'Giles Corey' in The Crucible, playing at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?

In 1979, Sweeney Todd and it was electrifying, scary AND exciting and Len Cariou was superlative.

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

Before my warm up I always greet the stage. In The Crucible we have a specially jolly warm up! Its a wonderful company to be in.

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

"The show must go on" is so deeply embedded in my DNA that I have only missed one performance in my career... that was caused by a kidney stone, which didn't leave many options!

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

Anything Conor Mac Pherson writes.

Who is your Broadway crush?

Its got to be Chita Rivera! Had the joy of working and even dancing with her in Edwin Drood. I am smitten! But I am also crazy about Chris Fitzgerald's talent, he made doing Finian's Rainbow a treat.

Where can people follow you online?

Seek and ye shall find, but don't know where. I am a online avoider.
