Direct from Argentina, Tango Buenos Aires returns to Houston for an evening of sensuous dance tonight, March 13, 2015, at 8 p.m., in Jones Hall, presented by Society for the Performing Arts.

Feel as though you have been whisked away to an open plaza in Buenos Aires as this company of 25 dancers showcase precise movement and display the elements of love, passion and romance. Set to live music, the company will perform The Song of Eva Perón, a sparkling and poignant work in music and dance that traces the fabled and tragic life of Argentina's legendary First Lady - from her ascent to fame in the 1930s to her death in 1952.

Led by Artistic Director Rosario Bauza, Music Director Fernando Marzan and Choreographer Héctor Falcón, Tango Buenos Aires has become one of Argentina's great cultural exports. The company was founded in 1987 by composer and tango director Osvaldo Requena for the Jazmines Festival at a Buenos Aires cabaret and has toured the world ever since.

Tickets for Tango Buenos Aires range from $28-$90 and can be purchased online at www.spahouston.org, by phone at 713-227-4SPA or at the courtyard level ticket office at Jones Hall located at 615 Louisiana St. Hours of operation: 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. For groups of 15 or more call 713-632-8113. Prices are subject to change.

Part of SPA's International Series, this performance is generously sponsored by Reliant, an NRG company; Continuum Energy; Curt Karges; Phillips 66; United Airlines; H-E-B; and Phoenicia.
