This January, The Storm Theatre Company (Peter Dobbins, Producing Artistic Director; Fleur Alys Dobbins , Associate Artistic Director) will present North American Premiere of the 2012 Olivier Award winning play COLLABORATORS by John Hodge, directed by Peter Dobbins. COLLABORATORS will begin performances at Grand Hall (440 Grand Street at St. Mary's Church) on January 8 and will open on January 14 through February 13, 2016. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by visiting Smarttix.com or by calling (212) 868-4444.

Hilarious and chilling, Collaborators is the story of the brilliant dissident writer Mikhail Bulgakov, who is chosen by Joseph Stalin to write a celebratory bio play titled "YOUNG JOSEPH". Collaborators is a surreal imagining, based on a true story, about what happens when artists veer too far from their true path and compromise with repressive power.

"Collaborators is hysterically funny and smart theatre, which is exactly what we look to present as a theatre company. I was surprised to find out that this play has not been presented in the US. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to present the North American premiere of such an amazing, award winning work." says Storm Theatre Company's Producing Artistic Director, Peter Dobbins.

Collaborators was originally presented at the Royal National Theatre, London, in 2011, it starred Alex Jennings as Bulgakov and Simon Russell Beale as Stalin. It won the 2012 Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Play and called "? ? ? ?... A truly tremendous double act which thrills, chills and makes you laugh out loud - even though you know you shouldn't." Daily Telegraph; "? ? ? ?, Collaborators is fresh and energetic, with a thick, throbbing vein of grotesque humour." Evening Standard
