Stanford Professor Adrian Daub to Talk Joan Jonas, Repetition at CCA Wattis Institute, 11/17
By: BWW News Desk
In Joan Jonas's work, repetition is everywhere-conceptually, formally, narratively, iconographically.
On Monday, November 17 at 7:15 p.m., Adrian Daub, a professor at Stanford University, gives an overview on the philosophical life of repetition ( via Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Deleuze, and so on). This event is organized by Jordan Kantor (professor of Fine Arts, CCA) and is the third of a year-long series of events about and around the work of Joan Jonas. It takes place at the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, 360 Kansas Street, San Francisco, Calif. For more information, visit www.wattis.org.Videos
