Southern Rep Hosts Open Call Auditions 6/26

Southern Rep will host an OPEN CALL for actors Saturday June 26, between 12:30 pm-5:30pm. Audition Times: Non-Equity Actors with last names beginning with A-L should attend between 12:30 to 2:30, and M-Z from 3:00 to 5:00. AEA actors will be seen from 5:00 to 5:30 pm. Multiple Greater New Orleans theater casting representatives will be present. Auditionee's should bring 10 copies of their headshot and résumé, prepare two contrasting monologues of one-minute each, and if musically inclined sing 16 bars a cappella. Children under 18 will not be seen.

The auditions will take place at Southern Rep's Studio on the fourth floor in One Canal Place Office Tower next to The Shops at Canal Place, 333 Canal Street, New Orleans. To reach the studio, please enter through the One Canal Place entrance on Canal Street, check in with security and proceed to the fourth floor.

Other New Orleans area auditions: The Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS) will hold open auditions for its 2010-2011 Season Sunday, June 27 from 9PM-3PM at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center (EJ High School Auditorium), 400 Phlox Street in Metairie. JPAS seeks singers, dancers and actors ages 15 and up of all ethnicities for their 2010-2011 season productions.
