Broadway and cabaret performers will gather for Sounds Like Heaven: The Nicholas Levin Songbook on Tuesday, September 27th at 6 PM at the Donnell Library Theater (20 West 53rd Street).

Produced and hosted by John Znidarsic, the show is part of the Arts and Artists at St. Paul's series of Free Songbook Concerts, which is now in its 15th season.

Lined up to perform in the concert are Marnie Baumer, D. B. Bonds (The Phantom of the Opera), Donna Coney Island, Scott Coulter (MAC and Bistro Award-winner), Chris Gunn (Little Women), Michael Hunsaker (Listen to My Heart), Jen Jurek, Christianne Tisdale (Beauty and the Beast, Triumph of Love) and Melanie Vaughan (Sunday in the Park with George, Parade).  The evening will be directed by Michael Cassara with Levin at the piano.


Levin has worked extensively as a pianist and musical director for theatrical and cabaret productions.  Shows for which he has written music and lyrics include The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Exception and The Rule and Encounters with John O'Hara.  He has written the music for That Time of Year and The Sticker Tree.
