To celebrate the worldwide, in-store release of the original cast recording of Everyday Rapture, the much raved about musical co-written by and starring Sherie Rene Scott, the entire cast will be holding an in-theater CD signing immediately following the 7:00 PM performance on Tuesday, June 15. Fans are invited to assemble in the lobby of Roundabout Theatre Company's American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd St.), where Everyday Rapture is currently playing, beginning at 8:30 PM on June 15 to meet the cast and creators and have their CDs (and any other Everyday Rapture merchandise) signed.

Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of Everyday Rapture is co-written by Dick Scanlan and also features Betsy Wolfe, Eamon Foley and Lindsay Mendez, who will all be on-hand for the signing. The show is directed by Michael Mayer.

The original cast recording of Everyday Rapture, a Ghostlight Records recording, is currently available on iTunes, in the lobby of the American Airlines Theatre, and on the Ghostlight /Sh-K-Boom website (www.sh-k-boom.com). On Tuesday, June 15 the cast recording will be available in stores throughout the world.

Everyday Rapture tells the true-ish story of a young woman's journey from Mennonite to Manhattanite and from bedroom lip-syncher to Broadway semi-star! Featuring songs by David Byrne, Elton John, Mister Rogers, The Supremes, Tom Waits, U2 and Judy Garland, Everyday Rapture is an uplifting and uproarious new musical that asks, is it better to worship...or BE worshipped? The New York Times said of Everyday Rapture "it's the kind of show this city hasn't seen since Bette Midler last played Radio City MusicAl Hall. It easily qualifies as one of the year's most extravagantly entertaining new musicals."

The Cast Recording of Everyday Rapture features the full cast.

Founded 10 years ago by Kurt Deutsch and Sherie Rene Scott, Sh-K-Boom and its imprint Ghostlight Records has become the leading independent force in musical theatre recording-shining a light towards its future while continuing to honor its past. The label is renowned for its efforts to encourage and support the music of the most innovative new voices on Broadway, to help bridge the gap between pop/rock and musicals, and to preserve the scores of important works. Ghostlight Records received a 2009 Grammy Award for their double-CD release of In the Heights (already a Tony Award Winner for Best Musical and Best Score) and was also just Grammy-nominated for the new cast recording of Broadway's Hair, which debuted at #1 on the Broadway Billboard Chart. In addition to In the Heights and Hair, Ghostlight's recent releases of the OCRs for Tony and Pulitzer-Prize winning Next to Normal, Passing Strange, and the single release featuring the winner of MTV's Legally Blonde The Musical competition, have brought the label acclaim for their innovative marketing techniques and their efforts to reach the next generation of Broadway music fans via iTunes, music videos and more. Also featured amongst the label's over 75 titles are the popular cast albums of Legally Blonde, The Last Five Years, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, [title of show] and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and solo albums from major Broadway artists like Patti LuPone, Sutton Foster, Kelli O'Hara, Christine Ebersole, Alice Ripley and Adam Pascal.
