After a run of over two years, the hit revue Bush is Bad will close at the Triad Theatre on December 30th.

"We succeeded in our mission to propel the Democrats to victory this year. Now that we're entering a new era of government, we need to kick back and wait a bit to see what happens. Bush Is: Lame Duck Edition would be one obvious next step, but if the Democrats in Congress blow it, we might need Pelosi Is Pathetic or Reid Is Ridiculous," stated Joshua Rosenblum, the show's creator and director.

Bush is Bad plays Thursdays & Fridays at 9 pm, and Saturdays at 7 pm, at the Triad Theatre (158 West 72nd Street).

The show debuted at the Triad in September, 2005 and ran for eleven months, before re-opening as Bush is Bad: Impeachment Edition on September 21, 2006.

The show, "which has been described as the hysterical love-child of Forbidden Broadway and 'The Daily Show,' offers catchy tunes, wickedly funny lyrics and scathing impersonations of the president and his dissembling gang of conspirators.  Bush is Bad: Impeachment Edition currently features Lori Hammel, Neal Mayer and Tom Treadwell, with direction and choreography by Gary Slavin, and David Wolfson at the piano.  Costumes are by Anne Auberjonois, with lighting and sound by Tonya Pierre.  Song titles new this season include "Wake Me When It's 2009",  "You Can Never Have Enough Bush," and "Torture Has Been Very Good To Me."
