Tom Santopietro, author of Considering Doris Day, (April 2007; Thomas Dunne Books/St. Martin's Press; $22.95), will appear at several booksigning events to promote his new biography of America's Favorite Girl Next Door. Film, radio, recording, and TV star Day was born Doris Mary Anne von Kappelhoff in 1924 and went on to become one of the best-loved entertainers in America, starring in films such as The Man Who Knew Too Much, Please Don't Eat the Daisies, and Pillow Talk, and recording hit versions of "Que Sera, Sera" and "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps."

Tom Santopietro, who's acclaimed book The Importance of Being Barbra chronicled Barbra Streisand's career, has been a manager of over two dozen Broadway shows over the past twenty years. Scheduled booksignings are as follows:
