While making the press rounds to promote his new flick, Green Hornet, Seth Rogan cleared up the rumors once and for all that he will not be starring in the film version of ROCK OF AGES.  Rogan tells MTV News: "I heard that rumor, but I can't sing at all...I would be the worst guy to put in that movie. I saw 'Rock of Ages.' It was pretty good. I liked the music. But I can't sing. I think people should be aware of that...Yeah, I know nothing about any real version of that."

Seth Rogen had been rumored to be in consideration to play Lonny in the upcoming film version of ROCK OF AGES, Toronto's thestar.com first reported. The film is to be directed by Adam Shankman and will most likely begin shooting in 2010. The film is currently set to be released in the summer of 2011.

Seth Rogen's film credits include 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin,' 'Knocked Up,' 'Superbad,' 'Anchorman,' and 'Zack and Miri Make a Porno.' He co-wrote the screenplays for the films 'Superbad' and 'Drillbit Taylor.'
