SAMUEL & ALASDAIR Plays In The Antidepressant Festival At The Brick 6/5- 7/4


Samuel & Alasdair: A Personal History of the Robot War will play as part of The Antidepressant Festival, June 5 -J uly 4 at The Brick (575 Metropolitan Avenue between Union and Lorimer). Saturday June 6 @ 8:30pm, Saturday June 27 @ 2pm, Sunday June 28 @ 7:00pm, and Thursday July 2 @ 7:30pm. Tickets ($15) are available through or by calling 212-352-3101 or toll-free: 1-866-811-4111.

Lila Neugebauer (Director) assisted for Jo Bonney, Jon Jory, and Chay Yew, among others, as a resident directing assistant at Actors Theatre of Louisville. She also developed and directed numerous ensemble-devised and original solo works with Actors Theatre's Acting Apprentice Company. Recent directing projects include Vanilla and 27 Ways I Didn't Say 'Hi' to Laurence Fishburne (world premieres, Actors Theatre of Louisville Apprentice Company), Anne Washburn's Apparition (staged in a dilapidated Victorian in Louisville, Kentucky), Karen's Party (a site specific processional piece about hauntings, which she also co-devised), and Eli Clark's Edgewise (world premiere, presented at the Cherry Lane Studio).

Marc Bovino and Joe Curnutte (Playwrights) are writer/performers who have worked regionally at Actors Theatre of Louisville, Hartford Stage, Huntington Theatre, The Hangar Theatre Lab Company, Riverside Theatre, and CT Opera. New York Credits include HERE Arts Center, PS 122,
59E59, and Center Stage. Marc Bovino's ten minute play Ready Set Go received it's world premiere at Actors Theatre of Louisville. Joe and Marc are both contributing writers for and are founding members of The Mad Ones.
