Richard Cardillo embarks on a magical, mystical and multicultural ride through his childhood growing up in a large Italian-American family, his youth and young-adulthood as a monk in a Catholic monastery, and his 10 years working and learning in Peru. With equal measures of celebration, sadness, self-discovery, and sex antics, Invisibility will take all on an unforgettable journey.

Rich is a lifelong resident of the Lower East Side in Manhattan and has been an educator for over three decades. He still considers himself more of a learner than a teacher...but always a storyteller! Rich is a six-time Moth StorySLAM winner. He's performed at Yum's The Word, Pros(e) Of Pie, Story Collider, The Liars Show, RISK!, and was recently featured on The best of RISK! #12 Podcast. Rich was recently featured in the PBS Series: "Stories From the Stage". This summer, he debuted his solo show "Invisibility" to sold out audiences at The Tank. Rich is a passionate activist (recently garnering his first civil disobedience arrest in support of immigrant rights while inside Trump Tower!). His playground voice has transitioned nicely to become his protest voice!

For over ten years Director David Lawson has performed one-man shows all around New York and across the nation about things such as his encounters with hate groups (Nazis and Me), working on the streets of Times Square (Flyer Guy), 9/11 from a Washington, DC perspective (Floundering About), video games (No Oddjob), and more. For five years he's hosted the monthly Astoria Bookshop Storytelling Show. Lawson runs a solo show intensive, teaching students to write and perform solo shows. He graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre.
