Red Roses, Green Gold to Present Jerry Garcia Artwork At The Minetta Lane Theatre MWM Live is proud to announce that RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD, the new musical featuring music & lyrics by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter, is teaming up with The Jerry Garcia Foundation to present Jerry Garcia artwork at Greenwich Village's Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane). The artwork, which is now on display throughout the theater, is open to all RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD ticket-holders.

"We are honored to share Jerry's art with the audience of Red Roses, Green Gold. It is wonderful to see his art, music and visionary contributions continue to inspire love and appreciation in new creative ways," said The Jerry Garcia Foundation. "The Jerry Garcia Foundation honors Jerry's genius and his generosity of spirit with an ongoing charitable arts program. All the pieces in this Red Roses, Green Gold exhibit will be donated to a selected nonprofit."

The Jerry Garcia Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, supports meaningful causes through the beauty of art and music. The Foundation was established in 2015 as an expression of gratitude, by family members, Manasha and Keelin Garcia, in honor of musician, artist, and visionary, Jerry Garcia. Staying true to Jerry's vision, The Jerry Garcia Foundation embraces the idea that music and art bring great healing to the world.

RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD, which just celebrated 100 performances Off-Broadway, brings the music and lyrics of Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter to the stage. This new musical set in 1920s Cumberland tells the fantastical and comedic tale of Jackson Jones and his family of swindlers as they gamble their way to love and riches.

Directed and choreographed by Rachel Klein (More Than All the World), with a book by Michael Norman Mann (BOX 27), RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD features additional music & lyrics by Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, Bob Weir, and Bill Kreutzmann, with musical supervision and arrangements by Jeff Chimenti. RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD began previews on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, and officially opened Sunday, October 29, 2017.

RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD features a cast of eight actor-musicians on stage at the intimate Minetta Lane Theatre, in the tradition of some of the 20th century's most popular musicians playing the iconic venues of Greenwich Village. Leading them is musical supervisor and arranger Jeff Chimenti, the extraordinary keyboardist who, since 1997, has played several tours such as Fare Thee Well, Furthur, and Dead & Company.

Ticket prices range from $58-$88, with premium tickets available for $125. All tickets are available for purchase via Ticketmaster.com and at the Minetta Lane Theatre Box Office. The box office is open Tuesdays - Sunday, 1pm to 6pm.
