Broadway leading lady Rachel York will guest star on the Disney Channel's top rated children's show Hannah Montana on Sunday, August 3 at 8:30 p.m. In a new episode called Yet Another Side of Me, York appears as Isis, a Madonna-esque pop diva who encourages Hannah (series star Miley Cyrus) to change her image in order to stay successful.

An award winning stage and screen actress, York is best known for her critically acclaimed Broadway performances in City of Angels, Les Misérables, Victor/Victoria (Drama Desk Award), The Scarlet Pimpernel, Sly Fox, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Additionally, York has starred in the national tour of Camelot (Carbonell Award) opposite Michael York; Putting It Together (Drama Desk Nomination) with Julie Andrews; the national and London tours of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate (Helen Hayes Nomination); Dessa Rose at the Lincoln Center Theater (Drama Desk Nomination); Anything Goes (Ovation Nomination); Evita; Ragtime; Summer of '42; and The Odd Couple with Jason Alexander and Martin Short.

York will next star in the new Broadway bound musical Turn of the Century by Jersey Boys librettists Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. Jeff Daniels co-stars, and the legendary Tommy Tune directs. Turn of the Century is receiving its world premiere at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago this fall prior to a possible transfer to New York in 2009.

York's other film and television credits include the CBS movie of the week Lucy in which she starred as Lucille Ball, One Fine Day, Billy Bathgate, Killer Instinct, Second Honeymoon, Au Pair II, Frasier, Reba, Numb3rs, Close to Home, Arli$$, Spin City, The Naked Truth and Diagnosis Murder. In addition, she is the voice of Bitty in Higglytown Heroes and Circe on The Justice League.

The singer/actress has performed her cabaret For the Love of It at Feinstein's at Loews Regency and the Metropolitan Room in New York to rave reviews, and she has appeared as a guest soloist in concert with symphony orchestras around the world. Her debut solo album, Let's Fall in Love, is available at Barnes and Noble, iTunes, and on her website. For more information, please visit www.rachelyork.net.
