Variety writes that Broadway, film and television actor Mitchell Jason passed away on March 11, 2014. He was 92.

Jason, a prolific Broadway performer, appeared on the Great White Way in the 1989 Tony-winning production of Grand Hotel (helmed by Tommy Tune), as well as Cafe Crown, A View From the Bridge, The World of Sholom Aleichem, Herzl, So Long, 174th Street, Molly, Tricks, The Prisoner of Second Avenue, Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie?, Darling of the Day, The Investigation, Fiddler on the Roof, Fade Out - Fade In, Seidman and Son and Gideon.

He also appeared onstage in many regional productions in his home state of Pennsylvania before leaving for New York.

He appeared on the big screen in Soup for One, Network, Dragonfly and The Heartbreak Kid. His TV credits include Doing Life, Kate & Allie, Contract on Cherry Street and The Doctors and the Nurses.
