Photo Flash: Tonya Pinkins, Bob Dishy, et al. in Atlantic Theatre Company's STOREFRONT CHURCH

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) will present the world premiere of STOREFRONT CHURCH, written and directed by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner John Patrick Shanley and starring a celebrated cast featuring Bob Dishy, Giancarlo Esposito, Zach Grenier, Ron Cephas Jones, Jordan Lage and Tonya Pinkins.

STOREFRONT CHURCH began previews Wednesday, May 16; officially open Monday, June 11; and play a limited engagement through Sunday, June 24 Off-Broadway as the first production to return to Atlantic’s main stage Linda Gross Theater in Chelsea following completion of a historic $8.3M renovation.

STOREFRONT CHURCH is the final installment of the trilogy called Church and State, which began with Doubt. The story concerns a Bronx borough President (Esposito) who is forced, by the mortgage crisis into a confrontation with a local minister (Cephas Jones).
