Photo Flash: Sneak Peek - TYA Professional Training Program's Summer Intensive Presents ZOMBIE PROM
The time: 1950's. The place: Enrico Fermi High. Pretty girl Toffee has fallen for the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. When a freak motorcycle accident in a nuclear waste dump renders him a glowing zombie creation, he sets out to graduate high school and take Toffee to the prom. Will all of his dreams come true? Performances will run Wednesday, July 26 at 7:30pm, Thursday, July 27 at 7:30pm, and Friday, July 28 at 11 am and 7:30 pm, directed by Megan Elizabeth Henderson, with music direction by Dustin Merrell, and choreography by Sarah Luckadoo and Jason Quackenbush.
The cast features Lauren Alberg, Annabelle Anderson, Ayla Bailey, Will Cavey, Lila Cooper, Olivia Davis, Jadyn Kelly, Lauren McKenna, Bayler Stewart, Bryan Thompson, Amanda Tossman, Alyssa Tschirgi, Eli Vogel and Luka Yetter.

TYA Summer Intensive is a professional training experience culminating in a full-scale production. The program also includes master classes with theatre professionals and casting agents throughout the session. Teaching Young Artists is Drama Learning Center's Professional Training Company. Available by audition only, TYA allows students to work in a professional theatre environment as they learn about all aspects of theatrical work. Alums of the program have studied, or are currently studying, at such prestigious programs as: Catholic University of America, NYA Tisch, Marymount Manhattan, University of Maryland, Elon, James Madison University, Indiana University, Rider University, Wagner College, and others.
