Yesterday June 2, the National Arts Club in New York City hosted the Gold Medal of Honor for Lifetime Achievement in Music award presentation. This years ceremony honored Russell Simmons, the co-founder of the hip hop record label Def Jam and creator of the clothing line known as Phat Farm. BroadwayWorld brings coverage of the event below.
