Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW, under the leadership of Founding Artistic Director David Staller, presented its 97th production, Henrik Ibsen's farce League of Youth, last night, October 27 at 7pm, at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2895 Broadway at 95th St.).

Adapted and directed by David Staller, League of Youth is a farce by Henrik Ibsen-his first non-verse play in an attempt to move his style toward realism. This broad comedy tells the tale of a wildly ambitious young man determined to take over the government of a town. In nineteenth-century Norway, it was widely considered Ibsen's most popular play, lauded for its natural and witty dialogue, cynical humor and farcical intrigue.

The cast of League of Youth features Wesley Taylor (Stensgård), George S. Irving (Chamberlain Bratsberg), Max Gordon Moore (Doctor Fieldbo), Edward Hibbert (Daniel Heire), Jeff Ronan (Aslaksen), Andrea Lynn Green (Thora Bratsberg), Nick Wyman (Anders Lundestad), Jim Brochu(Mons Monsen), Chris Richards(Bastain Monsen), Cynthia Darlow (Madam Rundholmen), and Roberto Cambeiro (Erik Bratsberg). Time Out New York theater editor/critic Charles Morey will narrate.
