William Ryall was chosen as How the Grinch Stole Christmas! - The Musical's winner of the Gypsy Robe. Ryall performs as a Citizen of Whoville (as well as understudy for the roles of Old Max and the Grinch) in the show, which opened at the Hilton Theatre on November 8th.
The colorful Gypsy Robe, embellished with mementos from Broadway musicals, is presented to the cast member who has the most Broadway chorus credits. The Times They Are A-Changin''s Lisa Gajda was the last performer to be chosen as the Gypsy Robe winner. Ryall's previous Broadway credits include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Seussical (in which he played the Grinch), Amadeus, High Society, How to Succeed..., The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public, Grand Hotel and Me and My Girl.How the Grinch Stole Christmas! stars Patrick Page, John Cullum, Kaitlin Hopkins, Michael McCormick and Rusty Ross, among others.
