Tony winner Alice Ripley brought her ALL SONDHEIM show to 54 Below last week, on August 12. The multi-talented star of Broadway's NEXT TO NORMAL, SUNSET BOULEVARD, THE WHO'S TOMMY, SIDE SHOW and THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW explored the provocative lyrics and enduring melodies of songs written by the legendary Stephen Sondheim.
Ripley gathered some of her favorites -- and even revisited classic Sondheim characters she's played, remembering anecdotes along the way. From "Worst Pies In London" to "Getting Married Today"... from "Losing My Mind" to "Rose's Turn"... from "Being Alive" to "The Ladies Who Lunch", Ripley's ALL SONDHEIM set list gave the audience a night to remember. She will return with the same show on September 23.
