PHOTO FLASH: First Look at San Diego Musical Theatre's RENT

The award-winning, professional San Diego Musical Theatre (SDMT) produces the critically-acclaimed Broadway rock opera RENT June 22 - July 8 at its new home, the beautifully restored Birch North Park Theatre. Actress Gwen Stewart, from the original Broadway and touring productions of RENT, will reprise the role she created, Mrs. Jefferson, introducing the solo vocals for the musical's central theme song, "Seasons of Love."

Director Ron Kellum said, "This amazing cast will touch and inspire you! A great opportunity to experience RENT with this talented ensemble."

The cast also features Dylan Hunter as Mark, Casey O'Farrell as Roger, Shaun Tuazon (Angel), Loren Smith (Collins), Desmond Newson (Benny), Katy Harvey (Maureen), Nicole Tillman (Joanne), Domonique Paton (Mimi), Marisha Castle (Alexi), J.D. Driskill (Gordon), Charles Westley Patmon Jr. (Mr. J), Cordell Mosteller (Paul), Leslie Tammone (Mrs. Cohen) and Tom Vendafreddo (Steve).
