Onalea Gilbertson Performs with the Vagabond Orchestra Tonight

Canadian performer Onalea Gilbertson took NYC by storm three years ago with her show Blanche and has quickly become a "must-see" performer.

Onalea is an award winning singer, actor and songwriter who has created and performed with symphony orchestra, chamber ensemble, jazz band and in the theatre internationally. Since 2011, Onalea has premiered three original shows at the New York Musical Theatre Festival: BLANCHE (A top show of 2011 - Huffington post); REQUIEM FOR A LOST GIRL: A Chamber Musical about Homelessness; and David Rhymer's MATA HARI IN 8 BULLETS directed by Peter Schneider (Tony award winning producer of the Lion King) and produced by Charlie Fink for which she won an outstanding individual performance award. Mata Hari in 8 Bullets will perform at the Edinburgh Festival August 2014.

ONALEA is set to perform in concert with the Vagabond Orchestra. An evening of thought-provoking original theatre songs with a torchy, jazzy, chamber music feel.
