ONCE Cast Performs 'Falling Slowly' at Lincoln Center's Out of Doors Today, 7/29

Today, July 29th, for the first time in NYC, Lincoln Center Out of Doors will present a day long, multifaceted festival of Irish culture. "Our Land" will celebrate the artistic, literary and musical heritage of Ireland, the mark it made on America and the continuing cross-cultural ties that bind the two countries.

At 6pm cast members from ONCE, the 2012 Tony Award winning Best Musical, will perform the show's hit song 'Falling Slowly.'

ONCE, which features a book by award-winning Irish playwright and screenwriter Enda Walsh, won eight Tony Awards this year including Best Musical and Best Actor for Steve Kazee. The show opened on March 18, 2012 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre and stars Steve Kazee as 'Guy' and Cristin Milioti as 'Girl.' Also in the company are David Abeles, Will Connolly, Elizabeth A. Davis, David PatRick Kelly, Anne L. Nathan, Lucas Papaelias, Ripley Sobo, Andy Taylor, Mckayla Twiggs, Erikka Walsh, Paul Whitty, and J. Michael Zygo.
