Ever wonder which Broadway tunes have inspired your favorite performers? Check back every Tuesday for ON RECORD- to find out which cast recordings have made an impact on Broadway's brightest stars.

In this week's edition, we hear from Rebecca Naomi Jones, who is currently starring as 'Yitzhak' in Hedwig and the Angry Inch- playing at the Belasco Theatre. Read on to find out her top five picks!

1. Hair

I LOVE these songs and the fact that the production on this album is not overly clean. Some words and pitches are wonky and it just adds to the beauty.

2. Company

I did the show in college (UNCSA) and fell in love with this album when I was preparing for our production. It's quirky and funny and smart. Yeah Sondheim. Oh, and I love the variety of vocalists in this recording. Some sound strong, some more vulnerable, some are... Elaine Stritch!

3. South Pacific

I know this one might come as a surprise but I grew up with a copy of it and the songs hold a place in my heart. I used to sing "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair" in the shower as a little girl. And "Some Enchanted Evening"- so beautiful!

4. A Chorus Line

I grew up with this one too. I watched the movie often and I was OBSESSED with it. I think it's part of what made me want to get into this business. Then in high school when I finally started listening to the OBC I realized how much more "adult" and risqué it was, and naturally fell in love with it on so many more levels. It's so smart and so funny. And I loved all the raw stories from the individual characters.

Buy it today at Amazon or iTunes.

5. Passing Strange

I know- I'm in this, so it feels a bit gross to include it. Sorry 'bout it, but it rules. These bitingly intuitive yet poetic lyrics matched with rich rock and roll melodies just get under my skin every time I hear them. It's cathartic.
