With less than a month until the Tony Awards, New York Times reviewers Ben Brantley and Charles Isherwood released their list of Tony picks today, including who they believe will win, who should win, and who was snubbed.

MATILDA is the critics' pick for Best Musical and PIPPIN for Best Revival of a Musical, but they split when guessing who would take home the Best Play award: Brantley chose LUCKY GUY while Isherwood backed VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE.

For Best Actress in a Musical, Brantley picked CINDERELLA headliner Laura Osnes, while Isherwood went with PIPPIN standout Patina Miller; both lists agreed that MATILDA star Bertie Carvel would be awarded Best Actor in a Musical, that Cicely Tyson would win Best Actress in a Play for her turn in THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL and that Tom Hanks would take home an award for his Broadway debut in the Nora Ephron play LUCKY GUY.

This year marks the 67th anniversary of the Tony Awards, which were first held on April 6, 1947 at the Waldorf Astoria's Grand Ballroom. The ceremonies are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, which founded the Tonys. Emmy Award-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris, star of the CBS comedy HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, returns to host.
